2014 has been a unforgettable year. So many amazing, mostly exciting but some times frightening things have happened. I know 2014 isnt over yet, but Im already jumping the gun for 2015 cause I have a lot of work booked already and so many plans. My wife and kids are what keeps me going on a day to day basis. Each day they remind me why it is important for Me to go into the market place and succeed with every endeavor I take on. Family and friends like my Mom helping me with all the little things in my business and Jimmy for being my side kick, you guys are great and I cant thank you enough. There is honestly way to many names to list. Thank you all.. 2014 will end with being the last year I ever work for some one else! I dont think a lot of you know how important this is for me. For 7 years I was at a company that I worked my ass off to be in the #1 position in the company. During that time I started my own company Cape Cod Cleanups part time. Leaving my house at 5am Monday through Saturday, coming home at 8pm every night for years. April 1st 2014, I came into work early, it was a Friday I believe. I got the trucks ready, and out on the road I went. I worked really late that day because I had to pick up some of the other crew members work because they had run behind. I returned back to the shop at 4:30 and was told to turn around and go do anredo that wasnt mine, which I gladly went and did. I returned back to the shop, to find my new manager waiting to speak with me. He called me into his office (that I had just recently turned down) and sat me down. He went on to tell me that my (now former boss) was not happy that I was operating a business, while also working a full time job. Although this did not interfere with my job what so ever, he asked me to take the next day off and that they would need to let me go if I did not quit my own business. I was in complete shock and I didnt overreact which is very unlike me although I asked to work for a couple more weeks so I could get my financials in order. I had just paid my taxes, got a new work truck, was preparing for my wedding and I am the sole provider of my house hold. The next day I received a phone call from the owner, telling me he would not be giving me any more days of work and that I was to return my uniforms immediately because he did not trust me driving his vehicles. He assumed out of spite I would destroy them intentionally. Well fast forward.. Since then, I have been able to come home at 5pm, although I still work overnights now and again in Boston or Connecticut (thankfully thats been awhile). I have been able to provide for my family and been able to offer a job for Jimmy (the best man at my wedding). As a family, and as a team. We have been able to blaze though the noise and make this business come to life. My expectations for next year to absolutely Dominate the competition! We are #1 in our field of service, just ask our customers! Not only are we doing junk removal, dump runs, handy man stuff, scrap metal, but we added carpet, tile and upholstery cleaning, gutter cleaning, window cleaning. We have remodeling a couple houses over the summer time. Its been insane but I wouldnt change it for the world! As a way of giving back, I also have joined a net work marketing company called Le-Vel and I have been changing peoples lives physically and emotionally. Again a Thank You to all of you reading this! And Ill leave you with a quote; Wealth Principle: The Law of Income - You will be paid in direct proportion to the value you deliver according to the marketplace. -T. Harv Eker
