2014 has been a wonderful year for me for many reasons, such as finally getting my driving license, and ORD-ing, just to name some. But one of the biggest reasons I feel this way is also because its the year I learnt to not take anything for granted, especially the relationships that I have with family and friends, and I would like to thank certain groups of ppl who have helped me over the 2 years I spent on serving the nation. To ppl in 5AD, thanks for being an awesome bunch of ppl to be around, be it ppl in the guardroom or in the management office. Spending one and a half year in a guardroom isnt easy, and can be pretty frustrating at times, and u guys definitely made guardroom life a lot more bearable with your jokes and nonsense and the numerous steamboats we had. Special thanks to ppl like Araviinthansai , Daniel Choong, Nicholas Gay, Satheeson and Justin Cher for being the reason I will always have something to look forward to in camp. To MCPARRY, thanks for inviting me to be part of this amazing group of musicians and for being so welcoming and patient with me from the instant I joined the band despite my lousy skills. I think its pretty amazing that I am not only able to witness your passion and dedication to music first hand, but also be a part of it these past few months. I have definitely enjoyed practices with u guys, and I look forward to the day I will have my first performance with yall. Thanks to everyone I have met up with on my off days the past 2 years, be it secondary school friends, JC friends or army friends. Its always nice to have a meet up to look forward to once in a while, especially in a very mundane vocation such as mine, where things can get really dull and boring at times. I am also really glad to be able to reforge some older friendships that I had taken for granted in the past, as well as made many new ones along the way. Special thanks to ppl like Yeow Tong, Dylan Sng, Daniel Choong and Jeremy Tng for making the conscientious effort to build our friendships to the next lvl, I really appreciate it. U guys are the best😄 Lastly, I would like to give special thanks to a bunch of wonderful and amazing people😄 Sincerely, THAN YOU Chai Ming Yao, Dong Juannan, Leon Vincent Chan, Nicholas Law Cheng Xue for sticking with me through the good times and the bad, especially when the going gets tough. You guys are always there for me during the bad times, even when I feel I might not deserve such kind gestures, and I really appreciate it. I love u guys man😊 Happy new year everyone😄
