2014 has been an amazing year for me - and with the Solstice upon us - I wanted to reflect on some fantastic things. Ive turned 50 this year - and have had, by far and away - the year of my life. If I share one thing that has blown me away, its this video that I shot in the Maldives in August. After a trip filled with adventure with some great friends - our penultimate dive was filled with Oceanic Mantas on a cleaning station. It was 88 minutes of bliss that I have reduced to 5 ;) - and everything that everyone needs to know about the sea is right here. Every fish plays a part. The big fish come, the small fish clean them of parasites and sores. Everyone gets what they want, they all work in harmony. Everyone has a role to play - and everyone is equally important. It was a very moving dive - and many a tear was shed by those who were there. A joyous time together - and one that I wanted to share.
