2014 in rear view.. As the year takes its final turn, I reflect on all of the events that I am grateful to have been a part of.. The past five years in Pueblo have really gave me some insight into how much my choices have affected those around me.. I used to walk around town with my camera in hand, my head held high, bold and confident....and for those past five years, due to my minor success, i felt as though a dark cloud was hanging over me; I would tuck down the bill of my cap, hang my head and walk with hate, shame, regret, and the feeling of being betrayed by those I once called my friends....It was with a very heavy heart that I felt I had to leave this place behind to escape my demons.. So I retreated to Las Vegas where I made the ULTIMATE discovery.....That I CAN do anything I set my heart to, and that my dreams were within arms reach.. All I had to do was reach out and grab it.. A year and a half later, upon my return home to Pueblo, where I got to spend my Brothers final months with him before he passed.. It was then that I made peace with my demons that have been haunting me.. I have embraced my brothers death, and Ive bottled up all our memories that he left behind for me, and I am pouring them all into my WORK, because I know that is what he wanted for me.. I love you all so much!! Thank you all for your love, your support, and your friendship!! *Raises a glass* Heres s to turning the pages of history and beginning a whole new chapter..
