2014 is so close to being over. It has been bitterly tough in a few real ways, but I am grateful to the following: 1) To my family, who bring me comfort and joy, not only when it comes easily, but even when it takes quite a bit of effort to bring comfort and/or joy about. 2) To each individual person who has been a friend to me and has allowed me to be a friend in return. Both are incredible acts of generosity, more rare and precious than you may realize. 3) To goats. For cashmere.
