2014 saw a significant change in my life. I have owned and operated my own businesses, ranging from construction to commodities to hunting guide (to name just a few), for over 45 years. While I continue to own and operate Joiner Petroleum Services, I began authoring books (both fiction and non-fiction) in 2014. My first book, American Entrepreneur, was published in April, followed by Life Begins at Sunrise in June, followed by The Legend of Jake Jackson: The Last of the Great Gunfighters in August, followed by The Blood Warrior Trilogy: The Revenge of the Wolf in October and ending with Dont Let THE MAN Keep You Down: How to start & operate your own business in December. I sold a total of 1,040 books for the year. My books have generated 62 reviews between Amazon and Barnes & Noble. On a rating system of 1 star - 5 stars: I have one 3 star, five 4 stars and fifty-six 5 stars. I owe a good number of these book sales to my friends on Facebook. Thank you! I enjoy writing books. I even enjoy the marketing end of it which most writers hate. I am currently attending trade shows on weekends to build my readership on a grassroots level.
