2014 started on a high note with a promotion to Team Lead. That changed when the foundation of the apartment building I lived in leaked and soaked all the floors. Then a tough decision to walk away from designing was made. Next came the ups and downs of house buying which had a happy ending of moving into my first home in June. Shortly after that followed my promotion to General Manager and a chance to return home full time. Then Tough Mudder rolled around and I discovered I was seriously out of shape, yet not near as bad as I had thought. Sadly, the loss of a young persons life followed after that. Then a surprise came from an old friend. Next was my first trip to Florida and my first real break from work since accepting the new position (which included a private concert and some kickass karaoke). After that, I let my guard down for the first time in a long time, which was then followed by a wonderful Christmas. Its been a year of change and growth. Thanks to all those who were involved. Looking forward to 2015!
