2014 started on a lownote for me with a fractured finger on my left hand but developed into a surprisingly good year with a RI Music Hall of Fame induction, a new record I am proud of, recordings with Billy Boy Arnold and Billy Price/Otis Clay (the latter which will be released in 2015), 2 tours of Scandinvia, some fun US shows and the completion of my next recording. 2015 is promising with an extensive tour of Europe in March and hopefully a tour of the US from coast to coast. Also, my blues and swing guitar lessons on Sonic Junction have grown considerablely worldwide and I am enjoying that more and more as time goes on. Stony Plain will be releasing my next all acoustic album Backyard Paradise in late spring and I will continue working on my own bootleg retrospective of my career with live audio performances and video of great performances never seem before. I will continue working on my book and also produce more recordings for myself and other artists starting with a new Al Basile project in January. Looks like a busy year I guess!
