2014 was no easy year for us moneywise. For the first four months, I was jobless and without unemployment benefits. For the last four months, Taci and I each worked a single, part-time job. I wrote articles for the paper, but the money I received for those was minimal. I thought for sure that we would finally qualify for Medical Assistance, but we received a letter informing us that we are $83.17 over the monthly income limit. So, for now, we are still without health insurance, twenty months after the loss of my fulltime job. We are very grateful that Molly is covered by CHIP.
