2014 winds down, it was a landmark year for the Stockwells of Gifu. My son, got tall and moved out. Went to Tokyo and started to study. You know, what I’m most proud of ? He did. I mean, he studied. Yesterday, I talked about this book that I heard about. Globe & Mail dished it.. Forgot the guys name... I said. About Capitalism. And.... He answered.... Piketty? Like Dad, it’s well known, he said. I haven’t read of this book: Capital in the Twenty-First Century but I will. Like the concept. A lot of years are washed out with the day to day grind. This year, 2014 will be remembered. What I do remember, but I’lll never remember the actual year, is all the great times I had with family and friends: Tiger games, email, FB, conferences, work, GT, in class, Windsor, Detroit, Nagoya and Gifu.Happy New Year all.
