2015 ELECTION: ROCHAS OKOROCHA’S SOCIAL MEDIA AIDS AND THE STATE OF SUSPENDED ANIMATION OF IDEAS AND THEIR NEAR STATE OF MENTAL OBSCURANTISM By ABC Anozie, Esq. I had written in defence of Governor Rochas Okorocha and in condemnation of the lackadaisical and near total state of unproductively of Ik Ogbonna, the Aid to the governor on Social Network in the face of ravaging and mudslinging Onwasoanya Fcc Jones. To be candid, it is my observation that His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, the Imo state Governor like any other public figure deserves the services of competent team of social media Aids, otherwise Media Image Makers. A social media aid that knows his or her onions understands the task of projecting the works, policies and intentions of the master in a most constructive, consistent and compelling manner, without toeing towards the destructive voyage of obscenity, obnoxious verbal gymnastics and media jihad with perceived enemies of the Principal. A social media aid to say the least endeavours to in a fantastic display on intellectual prowess and idea generating ability, constructively engage the opposition in an issue based campaign. It is a sensitive job that requires an impeccable verbal command, but most importantly, an Idea Generating, Constructive and Creative mind. In this global village and world unlimited with internet impossibilities, a competent Social Network aid should be well intellectually equipped and should be able to embark on painstaking researches, thereby incessantly bringing out new information and activities about the master. Unfortunately, one finds rather disappointingly, the abysmal performances of our own distinguished Ik Ogbonna of the Imsu Alumni who is the Principal Media Officer to the Governor on Social Networks and his team of other “media” crew who seems wanting and unfortunately helpless, incompetent and most painfully oblivious of the enormity and sensitivity of their job, thereby making it easy for much smarter and propaganda ridden opposition media aids and professional facebook column writers like Onwasoanya Fcc Jones to easily and most worrisomely gladly take the governor and his Commissioners to the clearness even on daily basis. Onwasoanya Fcc Jones is good, albeit destructively, since his internet “activism” is only “stomach infrastructure” motivated with a profound ease of theatrics and dramatisation peculiar to a man never to be taken seriously, yet I admit he has got a remarkable control of words and seems to be endowed with all the leisure the world can ever offer, hence his penchant for ‘facebooking’ as a suitable dramatic stage-like audience for his loquacious activities! Thus, One might understand that it is this embarrassing under-performances of Ik Ogbonna led Social Network Crew that motivated Onwasoanya Fcc Jones’s daily orchestrated campaigns of calumny and character assassination against the governor. The latest of Onwasoanya Fcc Jones’s clandestine mudslinging acts against the governor being his maliciously mischievous and indeed horrible comparison of the three years and few months development driven administration of Rochas Okorocha with the nearly eight years of stagnation and general lifelessness of the T.A Orji administration of Abia State. Hence Ik Ogbonna is challenged to stop feigning oblivious of these embarrassing media jihad of Onwasoanya Fcc Jones against the governor but to wake up in to the full responsibility of his job.
