2015 Free Seeds & Transplants Program applications are now available! Each year, Denver Urban Gardens provides vegetable seeds and transplants to in-need individuals, families, schools and community organizations to ensure that everyone has access to healthy food. To participate: 1.Pick up an application at any of 40 distribution center at the Montclair Recreation Center located at 729 Ulster Way, Denver, CO 80220 in the Lowry Neighborhood or the Martin Luther King, Jr. Library located at 9898 E Colfax Avenue, Aurora, CO in the Aurora Cultural Facilities District 2.Return your completed application to the same distribution center by Friday, January 30th at the Montclair Recreation Center located at 729 Ulster Way, Denver, CO 80220 in the Lowry Neighborhood or the Martin Luther King, Jr. Library located at 9898 E Colfax Avenue, Aurora, CO in the Aurora Cultural Facilities District 3.Seeds will be available for pick up at your distribution center on Wednesday, March 11th. Plants will be available at your distribution center in mid-May. Your center will contact you with exact pick up days for plants. One application is allowed per household. Individuals applying on behalf of groups, such as schools, community gardens or human service organizations, may be eligible for a greater numbers of seeds and transplants per application through our group distribution center at the Denver Urban Gardens office (1031 33rd St, Denver 80205). dug.org/free-seeds-transplants/
