2015 IBU Cup Legacy Athlete Exposure Camp During the 2015 IBU Cup # 7 and 8 in Canmore, the IBU Cup Hosting Society, in conjunction with Biathlon Canada will be hosting a camp for development athletes, to be exposed to international level racing at home in Canada. This Camp is being offered to development athletes between the ages of 15 and 16 as well as to development coaches. The purpose of the experience camp is to give athletes an insight into how athletes prepare for and compete at the IBU cup level and beyond. Through the Alberta Biathlon Training Center team and the Canadian National Biathlon Team, camp athletes will be given a unique experience and opportunity to train with and observe Canada’s best biathletes in competition as more than a spectator. When: March 4th – 7th 2014 Where: Canmore Alberta. Transportation from Calgary airport to Canmore will be provided as well as transport from Canmore to Hinton Who: 12 Development athletes aged 15 -16 who are committed to pursuing the sport of biathlon, and 5 Competition Introduction Certified Coaches Cost: Athletes and Coaches will be responsible for travel to Calgary Airport and From Hinton, as well as food during the Camp.
