2015: ISOKO SOUTH LEGISLATORS ENDORSE OGOR FOR RE-ELECTION **Eulogise Dr. Paul Oweh for Efeturi appointment ** Chief Ekpre Otobo was in the Western House of Assembly for 16yrs that was why he was able to pull Isoko out of Urhobo Eastern division - Hon Eboh Otejiri Ahead of the PDP House of Representatives primary election slated for Saturday 6th December, the Isoko South Legislative Arm led by Hon. (Mrs.) Beatrice Igogo Oyibotha has endorsed the Deputy Majority Leader House of Representatives and member representing Isoko Federal Constituency Rt. Hon. Leo Okuweh Ogor for re-election. The lawmakers cited experience, vibrancy and effective representation as their reasons for supporting his re-election bid. The Councillors who described Hon Ogor as the undisputed heavy weight of Isoko politics said his representation has given every Isoko man a place of pride in the National polity. They urged him to continue doing his good works as they are solidly behind him. The legislators who spoke through the Majority Leader of the House Hon. (Chief) Kingsley Obeidheko, said Your representation in the house has given every Isoko man a place of pride. We are not delegates but we will canvass for you, we have resolved to be Coordinators for you in our various wards, hold us responsible for our various wards. One of the Councillors from Uzere Hon. Otejiro Eboh while underscoring the place of experience in the legislature said Chief Ekpre Otobo was in the Western House of Assembly for 16years and that was why he was able to pull Isoko out from the Urhobo Eastern Division in 1963. In his response, the Deputy Majority Leader House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor said he was excited to receive them in his country home. He thanked them for the visit and subsequent endorsement and urged them to do everything within their powers to ensure his re-election. I thank you for the vision of supporting my re-election, I thank you because a vote for Leo Ogor is a vote for the development of Isoko Nation. The hour has come for us to put some high level of infrastructure in Isoko, It therefore means that we must support the Isoko Agenda. I brought in the consultants to look at the Akugha Road, because we intend to provide for the road and bridges in the 2015 budget. We are expecting the N8.9 billion Ofagbe Orie Ada with a spur to Idheze Ozoro road to be awarded by the Federal Executive Council any moment from now. We also took care of the Enwhe bridge that was destroyed by the 2012 flood even when NDDC said there was no provision for the project, i funded it to the tune of over N95 million. Today we have a functional bridge at Enwhe because we are capable. If we we were to have a green horn in the house that wouldnt have been possible. In the history of political representation of the Isoko Nation, we have been able to employ Isoko people in various pensionable jobs more than any other political office holder. We were able to influence the appointment of two Isoko sons as Federal Commissioners representing Edo, Delta and Bayelsa states because of the position we occupy in the House. The lawmaker went further to eulogize Dr Paul Oweh the Commissioner in the National Assembly Service Commission for ensuring that Mr Ben Efeturi was appointed Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly. On hand to receive the delegation were the Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, Hon. Joseph Otheremu, Hon. Phillip Osima, Prince Godwin Ogorugba and other aides.
