2015: Lawmaker Wants Saraki To Vie For Presidency A member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Mashood Mustapha, has lent his voice to calls on Dr. Bukola Saraki to contest the 2015 presidential election. Mustapha appealed to Saraki to in the interest of salvaging Nigeria take a shot at the presidency in the next year’s general elections. The federal lawmaker made the call during an interview with newsmen in Ilorin. He opined that given Saraki’s wealth of experience as two-term governor, former chairman of Nigerian Governors’ Forum and former presidential aide, he is best suited for the job. Besides, Mustapha said most leaders of the world are in the same age bracket with Saraki. He further described Saraki as “Architect of modern Kwara” and a worthy senator, representing Kwara Central senatorial district at the National Assembly. He said the former governor “Represents the future hope of our country.
