2015: MR JONATHAN AND REVISIONISTS ON THE PROWL Some people who know next to nothing about Nigerian history or the political history or trajectory of elections in Nigeria are coming here to advertise their distorted and warped static ignorance must be educated before it is too late. Some of the shameless and ignorant apologists of corrupt and clueless Mr Jonathan who are the straps of TAN or better still a poorly trained propagandists in one of these mushrooms `we beg the president to contest groups`. These advocates of divisions should be made to understand that, Sir Ahmadu Bello was only a Premier of Northern Nigeria until his brutal assassination and nothing more by thoughtless Igbo military officers with mindset of domination. That, during Sir Ahmadu Bello`s era, Nigeria had semi autonomous regions as each region was allowed to chart its own cause, generate its own revenue and implement its programmes and policies with little interference from the Central Government, until the advent of General Ironsi an Igbo man and First Military Dictator, decreed that, Nigeria shall be a Unitary state. It is a fact that, the West and Northern political establishments from inception had preferred and advocated for strict regionalism. It was rather Owelle, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe who couldnt build a formidable political base in his home region, who was born in the North and schooled in Lagos and US who wanted Nigeria to be Unitary state, just to remain relevant and be constitutional Governor General or President. So, these barefaced revisionists should show us how Sir Ahmadu Bello policy on free education or encouraging Northerners to enlist in the Nigerian Army and Police disturb the physical or mental development of any Easterner? The pretended intellectuals and idle Prattlers who wish to tell the world that, whilst Sir Ahmadu Bello was implementing free education in the North, the Premier of Eastern Nigeria was rather encouraging Easterners to go into petty trading and children of school going age to migrate into other regions as street hawkers or spare parts dealers? It is extremely sad to hear anyone still insinuating that, Boko Haram is the Plan A or B of the North with all the recent revelations and confessions even amongst the military rank and file. It is extremely ludicrous to keep insinuating that, the North is against Jonathan, because he is from the minority or southerner and are using Boko Haram to discredit his regime. Did Boko Haram activities began in 2011 or 2002? Was Boko Haram responsible for the October 1st Abuja Eagles square bombing , targeted directly at Jonathan or the Niger Delta militants from his own state? There was an assassination attempt on the live of Jonathan in Bayelsa state whilst Governor and Vice Presidential candidate of the PDP. Was it carried out by Boko Haram? When Mr Jonathan`s first official visit to Bayelsa as Vice President his entourage was pelleted with sachets of pure waters. Were these angry protesters from the North? An interesting question for these pretend and spooky intellectuals: Who are the founders and major stakeholders of the PDP? Was the PDP founded and funded by the Igbos or Northerners? Recall that, the PDP was founded by 8 Nigerians; 6 Northerners with only 2 southerners; Alex Ekwueme and Bola Ige who left to join the AD. It later amalgamated with the late Yar Adua PDM which had Atiku as its leader. It is therefore extremely vexatious and lack of respect for anyone who knows the history, zoning and rotation policies of the PDP to be painting the North as power hungry, selfish and uncompromising. It is equally worrying coming from Ndigbo, whose region are the poorest political strategists in Nigeria and not gifted in the establishment of any national party talking about plan A or B of the Northerners. Responsible Ndigbo should be concentrating our efforts at enlightening Ndigbo to the possibilities and opportunities open to them if they can coalesce for group interests rather than championing inchoate political strategy that advances personal interest. Responsible Ndigbo should ask Igbo politicians and elites why they are unable to sustain APGA, and why the Ndigbo have the penchant for occupying the back seats in Nigeria political train, when nobody is preventing then from occupying the front seat. Can these pretend intellectuals and shameless revisionists tell us, what informed the decision in 1999 for both Major Political parties to field Presidential candidates from the South West both Yoruba and Christians? Can the TAN poster boys here, tell us what was the rationale and spirit behind the major parties in 2007, fielding both Moslems and even from same state, Katsina. And why YarAdua votes in 2 LGA in Anambra state were even more than the total votes Dim General Odumegwu Ojukwu ( 170 000 votes) got nationwide? Jonathan should stop behaving like a greedy crocodile who will want to eat both the person that feeds him and the food. His desire was to become the substantive and elected Governor of Bayelsa state. By some historic accident, he became the Vice President and eventually President and has ruled for 6 years. Mandela ruled for just 5 years and became a legend. Putting personal ambition above national interest, cohesion and integration is dangerous and shall definitely go the same way like IBB and Abacha if not worst than them. He is gradually becoming a domestic dictator. Why was Gov Nyako impeached? For telling the world the truth? Read Nyako`s memo again and reflect on the pronouncements of the Arewa Consultative Forum in November 2011 at Aso Rock. General Jerry Useni in the presence of Mr Jonathan and Mr Sambo declared Modu Sherriff is the god father and sponsor of Boko Haram and urge the President to convene a security summit for the North urgently. Did any of these happened till date? The world now know the sponsors of Boko Haram which include a retired Army General of Igbo extraction and a former Governor of Borno State both very close associates of Mr President and PDP members. The world now know those who are supplying arms to Boko Haram. The world now know whose aircraft is being used to launder money to buy arms. None of the accused have been bold enough to go to court or sue Dr Davies or any of the media houses that broadcast the interview in UK,USA, SA, Nigeria for defamation. The agents of falsehood should be told, that Gen Buhari is a distinguished Nigerian though of Northern extraction that forms an integral part of Nigeria with a landmass of 719,435 Square Kilometers or 79% of Nigeria’s landmass and has every constitutional right to compete for every and any positions opened to citizens to Nigeria. Gen Buhari has never been afraid and will never be afraid to state his position on national matters , unlike sycophants from other regions, who specialize in organizing and establishing `we beg the president to contest groups for any incumbent Presidents since the days of IBB, Abacha till date. TAN, YEAA, ABN, all Igbo promoters who specialize in promoting other region`s agenda only for them to be shouting at roof tops that, they are being marginalized, yet will never evolve any strategy or plan to produce leaders who could compete at the national level. It is only a fool, who will not understand that, Nigerian politics is based on regionalism and regional interests That for any region to win the Presidency it must negotiate with other regions and interest groups. Lets see how Jonathan will win elections in 2015 , without votes from the North, Southwest and southeast intelligentsia who have seen through this heap of incompetent and corrupt Mr Jonathan.
