2015 OHAJI EGBEMA STATE CONSTITUENCY IMHA: MY STAND. I have closely scrutinize and appraised the character and records of almost all the aspirants jostling to rescue Ohaji Egbema from its current tumultous state of deterioration in the 2015 Imo State House of Assembly. Presently, more than 10 persons who have indicated interest to represent the oil rich constituency include Hon Emmanuel Orie, Hon Stanley Peters, Barr Kelvin Ugwu, Mr Henry Adimelechi, Hon Prince Golden Nwokomma, Hon Damian Opara, Prince Rawlings Ohagwam, Barr Temple Okonji, Mrs Nwulu, Hon Uchenna Erobiri, Hon Luke Chukwu, Barr Greg Anyanwu, Hon Emeka Alihe, Hon Emeka Benjamin etc. Ohaji Egbema we all know is a resource-curse nation. Suffering in the midst of plenty inspite the abundance of our mineral and natural resources. The people of Ohaji Egbema has been extremely maltreated, exploited, dehumanized, neglected and treated worse than cattle. This neglect and deprivation has worsened under the present legislative watch of Hon Luke Chukwu whom we voted into office out of primordial bias and sentiment in our bid to stop the 3rd term plan of Rt Hon Goodluck Opia in 2011. The incontrovertible truth is that anyone who will represent Ohaji Egbema in the 2015 hallowed chamber of IMHA must possess the LEGISLATIVE requisite skills, knowledge and experience to differentiate LAW MAKING from mere political GATHERING. Our Legislator must be a vibrant, intelligent, handsome, God fearing, eloquent and ebullient young man who has the traits to pacify those factors that has hindered the development of Ohaji Egbema for the past lengthy locust eaten years and engineer, initiate and sponsor people oriented motions and bills that will uplift the social, economic, political and socio-cultural well being of Ohaji Egbema people. Our Legislator must be a vibrant young man that can stand firm in his both feets in the hallowed chambers without fear of favour or intimacy to make case for the betterment of Ohaji youths. Ohaji youths crying of unemployment in the midst of several oil companies and public enterprise been hosted in our Land. The presence of AJIP, ADDAX, WATERSMITH, ISOPADEC, NDDC, Imo poly, Adapalm etc can provide atleast 60% job opportunity for the teeming unemployed youths of Ohaji Egbema. It is only a young Legislator that can put to an end or reduce the menance of unemployment in our Oil Rich constituency. Rural electrification, Health, Good roads, security, Education, infrastructure etc have all taken back bench in Ohaji Egbema. We have to change this trend. There is need for a total re-orientation in the mindset of our youths. There is only one fine, handsome, gentle, humble, eloquent, vibrant, intelligent and God fearing young man from EKWUATO WARD who stands tall among the barrage of aspirant that can bring that real needed change and development to Ohaji Egbema through effective, efficient, responsible, responsive, qualiity and robust representation. He is no one else than HON EMMANUEL ORIE. Hon Emmanuel Orie, the younger brother of Chief Charles Orie is from Umuokanne in Ekwuato ward. Hon Emmanuel Orie is a graduate of Political Science from Universtity of Lagos whom over the years has excelled creditably well in his business career. Hon Emmanuel Orie has over the years through his business enterprise gathered adequate knowledge and vast experience that will engender that needed change that will cushion the affliction and suffering of Ohaji Egbema people from poverty to posperity. We do not need any political Robinhood to advise us on who to support again for the liberation of our local government. We do not want any Legislator that will share money again to select few leaders while majority of our people wallow in pervasive poverty. We do not need Bench warmers anymore. There is need for paradigm shift in Ohaji Egbema through responsible and responsive legislation which are the true embodiment of Hon Emmanuel Orie. Yes, Hon Emma Orie is the man....,!
