2015 U20 Victorian Men’s and Women’s Teams announced Category: Frontpage News, General The U20 Victorian Men’s and Women’s teams that will contest the 2015 U20 Australian Junior Championship to be held in Dandenong from the 22nd – 28th February, 2015 have been selected. Victoria will be competing against teams from NSW, Tasmania, South Australia, Queensland, the NT, New Zealand, Western Australia and the ACT. Both the Victorian Men and Victorian Women are the defending champions. The 2015 teams are committed to continuing this great tradition of success. After much deliberation we have selected the team that will represent Victoria in the up coming National Championships in February here in Melbourne. We are excited with the squad we have assembled and are pleased to be taking a very motivated group with a wide diversity of talent. The players and coaching staff expect tough opposition, and we will all be working hard to ensure that this team is fully prepared to compete at the Nationals. The players and staff are very much aware of the proud history of Victorian State Basketball and we look forward to continuing our winning tradition. I am very pleased to be working with our coaching staff and support team, we will do only our very best to secure yet another National Championship for Victoria.”
