2015 kicks off with great sadness for me. for many reasons. Got rid of people who I thought mattered, but dont, at least not to me. Good riddance. Took out some trash yesterday. But my heart is heaviest due to the senseless loss of yet another dear friend, an amazing person to all that crossed his path, friend or otherwise. Wednesday night, our dear friend, Sam Parret was senselessly taken from us, by a driver in the wrong lane, and hit him head on while he was on his bike. Sam was seasoned and damn good, and respectable rider. Not some irresponsible show off, begging for injury. He was a loving and loyal father and husband, recently a grandfather, whod go to the moon and back on bloody stumps for his family. Hell of a guy, that was taken so senselessly from so many. Love you Sam, thank you for your wisdom, your friendship, the countless great times and for gracing my life with the likes of a man like other. Ill never forget you.
