2016 Skoda Superb first teasers released - buff.ly/1BOK2x3 Here are the first teasers of the India-bound 2016 Skoda Superb without camouflage. The new Superb, as announced by Skoda, will be revealed in February 2015, and a public premiere will take place at the Geneva Motor Show in March. European sales will start by the middle of next year, and an Indian launch could take place by end-2015 or in early 2016. The front fascia of the new Superb is typical of a new Skoda product with the large grille (seen on the new Fabia and Octavia) and horizontally profiled headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights. The side view portrays a luxury sedan which is about the length of today’s model, but reports suggest that the new Superb will be slightly longer than the new VW Passat, with which it shares nearly 50 percent of components. Power for the new Superb will initially come from four-cylinder TSI and TDI engines. Later on in the lifecycle, Skoda will introduce a plug-in hybrid variant, a first on the car.
