20th December I love Advent time, for us who know Jesus it is a time of reflecting on what happened all those years ago, for others (God willing, it is their 1st heart encounter with their Saviour, redeemer and friend) it will be their 1st time of knowing the truth and Joy of Jesus coming and the journey His life was for (yes. the will of the Father, to come for us all, who God so loved!). For all leaders/Pastors, etc of whatever churches we attend it is a time of great excitement and much responsibility (not just at this time, but always), to love and teach and keep the new child and the older sheep together and learning the teachings and sharing Jesus love.Thank goodness, we are all called to help and serve in one way or another or Pastors would struggle. Please help and most of all encourage your leaders/pastors whenever you can. They need our blessings as well as the Fathers, whose will they are continuing. As a family in Jesus, we need to be there for everyone, please share this time of Great Joy and Peace as we prepare for Christmas.Jesus often called us children, His sheep/lambs, for he knew sheep who are not looked after will go astray and all sorts can happen. Please read John 21 verses 15-17. 3 times Jesus asks Peter do you truly love me?, then feed my lambs, Take care of my sheep and feed my sheep! We are the sheep of His pasture and Jesus wants all to stay well and loved by each other and to help others along the way. Lord please bless and encourage all leaders/ home group leaders, where the responsibility for looking after Your sheep rests with them and also with us.
