20th November is celebrated as the United Nations Universal Children’s Day. On 20th November 1989, the UN General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Children (UNCRC). The day is celebrated each year to promote awareness on Children welfare and Children Rights. The theme of Universal Children’s Day 2014: Stop Violence Against Children. To commemorate the day Islamic Relief Bangladesh (IRB) arranges different programmes every year. This year we observed the Day as well as celebrated 25th anniversary of UNCRC in 4 different districts of Bangladesh include Khulna, Rangpur, Barguna and Sunamganj.
