21-06-1986, also a Wednesday, as BBC 1 told us, that Kenny Carter and his beauty wife Pamela are dead...leaving their lovely kids Kelly-Marie (4, our photo) and Malcolm (2), a real tragedy for the family and the british Speedwaysport. KC (his Initialen) was the big hope for the nation after 3 good Wordfinals (1981/4,82/5,83/5), winning with PC the 1983 Pairs and the british title 1984 and 85(with a broken leg). Not only the people at Halifax, the whole british scenery missed him soon til today, one side the modern businessman and superstar, on the other side the typical northern english worker, who spoke everything, what he thought, in his typical Yorkshire Akzent.
