21 DAYS FASTING AND PRAYER EXERCISE Pleasant surprises Calvary greetings to every member and every friend of our great ministry, Total Restoration International Christian Centre, both at home and abroad. Throughout the year 2014, we encountered unstoppable progress in unimaginable aspects of our lives that has translated into pleasant surprises for us in the New Year 2015. To God alone is all the glory, honour, power and adoration in Christ Jesus. In the world of the automobiles, no vehicle can take-off effectively without engaging the first gear, after which other gears can be selected, depending on the speed desired. Likewise, in the realm of the Spirit, no sincere believer can effectively start anything meaningful without fasting and prayers. Prayer and fasting remains the foundational power generating avenue for effective take off in any spiritual assignment. There are certain issues of life that can never receive divine intervention without the weaponry of wisdom-oriented fasting and spiritually calculated prayers in the direction of expectation. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21) Daniel prayed and prayed through right from the first day but the prince of Persia delayed angel Gabriel that was to deliver the answer to his prayers for twenty one days until Angel Michael came to his rescue; and immediately the answers were delivered and the solution came. Our twenty one days spiritual exercise is premised on this principle; therefore time shall be allotted to myriads of points of prayers until our heaven is finally opened. Within these twenty one days, I trust God with you that the presence of God shall go with us and He shall give us rest roundabout. “And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest (Exo 33:14 ).” When God takes the lead in the journey of life, His presence will be sufficient enough to make provisions available as well for His people. Therefore, the Central theme of this year’s twenty one days fasting and prayer exercise is: “….and My presence shall go with thee….(Exodus 33:14)” Date:5th -25th January, 2015 Just as Daniel eventually had the final answer and final solution to all his prayer points, I believe God also that you too shall be able to testify of the goodness of the Lord in your life and destiny, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I pray that the Almighty Father in heaven will strengthen you both spiritually and physically, in order to be able to observe this exercise from the beginning to the end, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
