21 DAYS OF FASTING AND PRAYER. DAY 11 As for me I will call upon the Lord: Morning, Noon & Evening. He shall hear my voice! Ps 55:16,17. Time to pray! Formula For Humility ( Chapter 8 ) 1. Lift up your voice in reverence to the Lord of Host. Ps 89:6-8. Who is a strong God like You and who can be compared unto thee? 2. In Humility there is none like Jesus. We must learn from Him! a. Pray and ask Him to teach you how to be meek and lowly. Matt. 11:29. b. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you like He led Jesus to choose the lowest places. Luke 4:1-2. Luke 14:10-11. c. Pray to be filled and anointed with the Spirit of Christ not the spirit of the pride of life. Rom. 8:8,9. Eph. 5:18. 1 John 2:16. 3. When you are humble like Jesus: a. You do not do what you want. Pray to be delivered from the pride of doing things your way. John 6:38. Jer. 10:23,24. Ezek. 11:19-21. John 21:18. b. You declare that you cannot do anything by yourself. Humble yourself and confess you can do nothing without Gods help. John 5:19-20. John 15:5. c. You are happy and humble to let people know you are not original. John 14:24. John 7:16. d. You tell people where you get your inspiration from. John 7:28. John 8:28-29, 42. John 14:10. 1 Cor. 15:9,10. 4. Pray for the Humility of Jesus a. To be obedient in every way. Phil. 2:8. Matt. 26:39. John 4:34. John 12:49,50. John 17:4. b. To do any low profile job. John 13:13-14. Declare that you are a specialist at washing the feet of others. 5. Come against the spirit of competition. It is not the Humility of Jesus. May we not be like the disciples seeking who is the greatest. Luke 9:46 Pray for the spirit of John the Baptist who had no intention of competing with Jesus. Luke 3:15-17. John 3:25-31. 6. To be humble like Jesus is to accept to be younger or the youngest. Luke 22:26. Accept and confess that you are the younger or youngest. As you do you attract favour of God over your life. Paul said I am the least. He found favour. 1 Cor. 15:9,10. Eph. 3:8. Gideon said I am the least. He found favour. Judges 6:15-17. The prodigal son was not content to remain the younger and so was brought low! Luke 15:11-19. Declare that I am the least and receive great grace!! 7. Thank God that He has heard and answered our cry! Ps 55:17,18. QUARRELLING, HATRED, ANGER, BITTERNESS, DISCORD, UNFORGIVENESS, REVENGE, ENVY, BACKBITING, IMPATIENCE, ETC.... When you depict any of these towards a fellow Christian you are PROUD.
