21 Yea, I say unto you, my son, that there could be nothing so - TopicsExpress

21 Yea, I say unto you, my son, that there could be nothing so exquisite and so bitter as were my pains. Yea, and again I say unto you, my son, that on the other hand, there can be nothing so exquisite and sweet as was my joy (Alma 36:21) In this part of the Book of Mormon the Prophet Alma is telling his son Helaman about his conversion. I love the message Alma is teaching his son. He writes of his pain in the past-tense, that it was only temporary. We all know somebody who right now might feel as Alma did, that his pain and grief may never leave him, but we know better! Share with them your knowledge and testimony of the gospel and help them find that happiness!
