21 mile off road run with full pack for MdS. Despite the monstrous storm I got caught out in, the conditions under foot and the fact that I am really tired after having a particularly depressing morning at the Sanctuary (one of the elderly horses has colic and it is not looking good according to the vet) that went really, really well. It is SO hard to judge how you are going to feel when you set off - or even if you feel well enough to set off at all - before you go. Today I felt particularly awful before I went but fantastic when I was out. Dont know why this is and all I can assume is that I am finally beginning to get fitter and into the groove of running every day again. Now I need to go and see how Jingle - the poorly horse is after the prescribed rest and medication of this afternoon but Martin has already prepared me for the worst, in that he is not looking good. Also, tonight I have a Podcast with Rich Roll scheduled - eek!
