21 years ago today, after a long nesting spree which included painting the exterior of our house, I was working at Illinois Bell. I headed home in labor and at around 2:00 I thought gee, my back is hurting every 5 minutes (while I was ironing). We headed to the hospital...hot Kevie made a wrong turn on the trip we had practiced multiple times....we did finally arrive at RMH and welcomed our beautiful baby girl to our lives at 11:57 pm! We woke up one day and we were parents! Well, we didnt break her, or wreck her, or cause irreparable damage with our first attempt at parenting. In fact, we raised an amazing daughter! Compassionate, smart, loving, funny, and talented. Stephanie Joy, we love you SOOO much and could not be more proud of the young lady you are. Happy Birthday!
