21st September 2014 Day shift Territory Duty Superintendent (acting Supt.) Garry Smith:- Rule 101 of the Do’s and Don’ts. If it’s been alleged you have committed an offence, been placed before a court for due process, then DO attend. If you DON’T attend a warrant may be issued for your arrest. DO have the matter dealt with. If you DON’T and said warrant is in existence, DON’T flag down a Police vehicle and ask for a lift to the shops so he could get some breakfast. As Police DO, name checks were conducted. A 23 year old male did just this around 8.50 am this morning and is currently in custody – and breakfast was supplied.
