22: Today Im thankful that I have a Mom and Dad and not a mother and father. See a everyone has a mother and a father, but not everyone has a Mom and a Dad. There are people out there who want nothing more in life to be a Mom or Dad and then there are these people that are mothers and fathers and act like it means nothing. They arent the ones who have to sit there with a crying 5 year old on their lap saying I want Mommy and have to say something that will somehow explain that Mommy isnt there and isnt coming that its not ok. They arent the ones that hug the kid closer and say Im sorry your Mommy isnt here and I know its not the same, but Im here and I love you and Ill always be here. And my heart is breaking and my heart is filling with rage toward this woman that I dont even know. I dont know her situation in its entirety but I know the impression I get and the gut feeling I get that is hardly ever wrong. All I know is that these kids deserve a Mom and Dad, they deserve a Mom who will be there and will hold them when they cry and help them when they hurt. My heart breaks for them and my heart rejoices that God gave me the opportunity to be there for them.
