22-year old man with 3 wives hangs himself after being forced to marry another girl he impregnated | ZWD: zambianwatchdog/22-year-old-man-with-3-wives-hangs-himself-after-being-forced-to-marry-another-girl-he-impregnanted/ A 22-year-old polygamous man of Kaluwe village in Mafinga district of Muchinga Province has committed suicide by hanging himself to a tree using fibre after allegedly impregnating a young girl of the same village. Muchinga Police Commissioner, Remmy Kajoba, confirmed the incident in an interview with the Zambia News and Information Services (ZANIS) in Mafinga. Mr Kajoba identified the deceased as Joshua Simposya of Kaluwe village in Chief Muyombe’s area, adding that the man went missing on September 3, this year. Mr Kajoba explained that Simposya was forced to marry the girl he impregnated but told parents of the girl that he could not manage to take care of her since he had three other wives. The parents of the girl, however, insisted that Simposya takes the girl as a fourth wife and it was at this point that Simposya told his father that he was going out for some time and would return soon.
