22 years ago, there was a song sung by 7 Malaysian singers from different/mixed backgrounds which brought together Malaysians and foreigners from all walks of Life through music. Many Malaysians know this song - IKHLAS TAPI JAUH (Sincerity? from afar). However, a year or more before this happened, it was originally released with only one singer, Zainal Abidin, (who was one of those mentioned above) with a much simpler arrangement on an album which is remembered for another hit song, HIAJU (Green).
