220 Restaurant, downtown Birmingham, Michigan’s venerable restaurant, was built in 1932 within the historic Detroit Edison Building. The restaurant, which was purchased by businesswoman and attorney Denise Ilitch and her partner Zaid Elia of The Elia Group, has been extensively renovated and modernized to reflect a more contemporary atmosphere. Centigrade was retained to develop new branding to communicate the essence of the restaurant. Take a look at some shots from the opening party...do you recognize a couple familiar faces?
