229 [Isaiah 5-8] I pay attention to the deeds of the Lord. I consider the work of His hands. I do not call evil good, and good evil. I do not substitute darkness for light, and light for darkness. I do not substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. I am not wise in my own eyes. I am not clever in my own sight. I am not a hero in drinking contests. I do not seek valor in mixing strong drink. I do not justify the wicked for a bribe. I do not take away the rights of the ones who are in the right. I am willing to be sent by God whenever and wherever. I do not walk in the ways of non-believers. I regard the Lord of hosts as holy. I fear Him. I dread Him. He is my sanctuary.
