22Jan2015 - After nap today, Liam was out of his room for the first time since Tuesday. He was very chatty with the nurses, rode/pushed his tricycle, helped me make tea in the nourishment room, and had me ride the stationary bike. He relished the freedom to be in the BMT hallway (behind the double doors that ensure the air is being extra purified). Liam continues to eat and drink! His body seems to be processing what he eats and drinks rather quickly. As we were warned, the chemo appears to have given Liam a slick gut. While it has not seemed to impact his mood, we have changed a lot of diapers and it is rather questionable how many nutrients his body is actually receiving from his food. So far, his weight is holding steady. Prayer Requests: 1) Nourishment of Liams body from the food and drink he consumes 2) Healing - growth of bone marrow, re-acquisition of an immune system, intestinal health 3) More smiles as we continue to walk through this process day by day
