239th Birthday of my United States Marine Corps. Only a brief 2 years of my life in that Corps. One of those years in the hospital recovering fro my wounds. 6 months of training and a mere 6 months in combat. Of every 500 people who serve in our military only 5% serve on aggressive combat. Of that 25 men only 60% have killed enemy combatants and have seen them fall. A very elite group who spend their entire life dealing with the knowledge of the brutal death of another human at their own hands. 22 combat Veterans commit suicide every day. What can you do to help those to severe mental distress? Reach out with a loving non judgmental compassionate heart. Show them Gods love. You may save the life of one who gave nearly all for you!
