23rd may 2014- Santiago, Chile ------------------------------- We were waiting in the LAN Airlines Lounge of Santiago Airport to board our flight from Santiago to New York by LA532. It was about 9pm. Gm then said, I was remembering the history of Basu Ghosh Prabhu who was one of the associate of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu. After Lord Caitanya left the planet Basu ghosh was not able to bear the separation. He was not able to tolerate the intense pain of separation. He then dug his own grave and told his disciples to bury him. At that time the presiding deity there told Basu Ghosh, You dont have any right to take your life. You are belong to me and you have a lot of service to do. So give up this idea. He then continued, Devotees should never think of taking their life ( committing suicide).They are belong to guru and Krsna. This burial pit of Basu Ghosh Prabhu is still existing in Meidinipur, West Bengal. Maha Varaha Das
