24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST Issued At: 5:00 p.m., 22 October 2013 Valid Beginning: 5:00 p.m. today until 5:00 p.m. tomorrow Synopsis: At 4:00 p.m. today, the eye of Typhoon URDUJA was located based on all available data at 1,125 km East Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (23.0°N, 133.6°E) with maximum sustained winds of 160 kph and gustiness of up to 195 kph. It is forecast to move Northwest at 13 kph. Forecast: The regions of Ilocos, Cordillera and Cagayan Valley will experience parlty cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast to north will prevail over Luzon and coming from north to northwest over the eastern section of Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the north to northwest with slight to moderate seas. - DOST PAGASA
