24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST Issued at: 5:00AM 16 September 2013 SYNOPSIS: At 4:00 am today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 750 km East of Casiguran, Aurora (16.5ºN,130.0ºE). Southwest monsoon affecting southern Luzon and Visayas. FORECAST: Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Central Luzon and the Province of Mindoro will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. The rest of Luzon and Visayas will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over the Western sections of Central and Southern Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the southwest to south with slight to moderate seas.
