24 Jan 2014. Danau Meninjau Via Kelok 44. Itsan 8km span of treacherous bends. S and Z catergory curves. There were 44 of these bends and at times vehicles need to stop to give way for the oncoming vehickes. We were fortunate to have come via the east direction and thus have the advantage of downhills. The bike that i rode was a Bad Ass Canondale Badboy 4. Equipped with discbrakes and large top tube frame has the agility of going downhill at some pretty hair raising speeds. I did overtake a couple of busses and trucks on the curves. Tyres were wide, bi-weather dry and wet Kenda Koast 27.5 x 1.75. It sticks to the road tarmac like glue even under pouring rain. Oh yes I had fun with this Bad Ass , but the penalty I had to pay was my body temperature has now become more feverish for riding in the rain.
