Having cultivated their sound in the Great Plains of South Dakota, Isaiah James and Trevor “T-Bone” Anema are two hardworking, rock n rollers who live the lifestyle they want and share their message with as many listeners as they can find. “We grew up in an area of the country where people work their asses off everyday just trying to scrape by. When the workday is over we drink whiskey and beer, smoke a lot of cigarettes and play loud music.” – T-Bone Almost immediately, the South Dakota rock radio station started spinning the band’s demo. Not only that, the people started requesting it…a lot. Before long, ShowBaby had 3 top 40 singles and people in their hometown of Sioux Falls, SD were coming in droves to see the rock trio play. After some touring around the Upper Midwest, ShowBaby was finding similar success in areas like Kansas City and St. Louis. It started with other musicians, they loved it and passed it to their fans,” said James. As they moved along, 10-20 hour van rides between shows, touring through blizzards and sub-zero temperatures began to give way to the next step. The band needed to relocate to an area that would allow them to reach more people. In March 2013, four years after the band was born, ShowBaby relocated to Nashville, TN to plant new roots and take their music to a brand new audience. With two families’ lives packed into 43 feet of box truck and trailer, Isaiah and T-Bone pushed through one final South Dakota blizzard into the unknown. Currently, the two men find themselves in a new city, spreading their blue-collar attitude, love for no-holds-barred rock n roll and continually thanking God for the opportunity to play music. “I just see such a void now a days in rock.
