24th FLICKERFEST OPENS THIS FRIDAY NIGHT WITH A BANG! The 24th Flickerfest International Short Film Festival kicks off in style this Friday Night 9th January commencing with a screening of selected festival highlights under the stars at the Bondi Pavilion followed by a Bond themed after-party. Head along and rub shoulders with the most exciting talent in the film industry and see a special selection of highlights from 115 films selected in competition chosen from the 2400 films received this year! Highlights that will screen include the delightful and comical BUSH MECHANICS all the way from Yuendemu in the NT, the beautiful and haunting Australian short BABY BABY from NSW and touching BOOGLAOO AND GRAHAM from Northern Ireland. All of these films are competing for prestigious Academy® Accredited Flickerfest Awards across the International and Australian competitions.
