25/06/2014 DAILY SPRING TOPIC: RESISTANCE TEXT: Rev 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: Rev 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. Rev 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. Rev 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. Resistance can come in different ways and forms; God can resist an individual, group of persons or a nation. The people of Israel were in captivity in the land of Egypt for several years; when it was appointed time for God to deliever them, Pharaoh resisted them from going; despite the order from God to “let my people go”. However, when God eventually applied the blood of the lamb and the people of Israel escaped, He pursued them with his chariots and God resisted his advances; hence, they all perished at the red sea. Satan is fond of resisting the purpose of God; we can see in the above scripture, how he stood before a woman, who was travailing in birth and pained to be delivered of a baby boy. He knew that, the destiny of this child shall be great; hence, he tried every possible means to resist him surviving. The Bible says the dragon stood before the woman, who was at the stage of delivering a child; for to devour her child as soon as it was born. Consequently, God resisted him and the rest was testimony. Beloved, some people are not where they surppose to be now, because of spiritual resistance. This resistance might be in form ignorance, complacency, apathy, finance, health, family or associates. Irrespective of what is resisting your destiny from moving forward, upward and godward in the cosmos; the Almighty God is capable of waisting them, as He did to Pharaoh and his chariots at the red sea, even the Amalekites that resisted the people of Israel from passing through their land to the promise land (Exd.15:4; 17:13-14). I am persuaded in my spirit that, nothing can resist the blood of the everlasting covenant, the ordinances of day and night. Therefore, I come in agreement with you this day under apostolic anointing in prayers that, nothing shall resist your ministry, marriage, finance, health, business and all that pertains to you; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. You are a covenant child and NOTHING SHALL RESIST YOUR BLESSING……!
