25/12/2014. ॐ श्रीपरमात्मने नमः । I DON’T KNOW FROM WHERE TO BEGIN THE SPIRITUALITY. This is a Yaksha problem for almost all aspirants. We are puzzled in the intricacy of Sansar and Sadhna (Life and Meditation). Where Sansar ends and from where the spirituality begins is the problem. Because our Pundits have prisoned life and meditation in separate water tight compartments. They have classified them opposites to each other. I say the meditation is that end of life where life rests in itself without a scant trace of the outer movement, and life is that end of the meditation where life again starts palpating dramatically in the outer world. It is like breath in and breath out. If you don’t breath out then breath in is never possible, and breath out will never be possible if breath in has not taken place. So basically you can find no quantitative difference in both. The difference is only dimensional. Generally Spirituality for us means the knowledge of all scriptures, Vedas, Gita, Upanishads, Brahmsutra, Purans and many more books. When Sage Naradji could not get inner peace after reading all scriptures, goes to Sankadik Kumars and asks them the reason of his restlessness. Sankadik Kumars say: “What you have read are Names only- Chhandogyopanishad. नामैवैतत् ।(छांदोग्योपनिषद)”. Let me tell you categorically that in the end, you can only get Realisation when you forget all knowledge. It is precondition for Realisation. It is your imbibing of knowledge in life that matters. The necessity of all knowledge is restricted to this knowledge only that knowledge is not going to be helpful in the Realisation. But the imbibing of knowledge in life shall lead you to the Realisation. If you believe me, you need no knowledge at all. When you were child, you were far more pious and pure than what you are now. The books that you cite as books of knowledge are like a line mark of body of snake which has passed on the dusty road. Now snake has gone. Once snake was there. But now there is only its body mark. It is not an intellectual act to worship the bodily line mark of passing snake on the road. So please don’t whip the dead horse. It will bear no result. Don’t waste your time in procedure only and forget the practical part of life. At the end of life, you are not going to be asked, how many books you have read? You will definitely be examined how you lead your life? There are very rare cases of Pundits reaching to Parmatma. But Kabir can reach to Parmatma by weaving clothes, or Rohidas can reach to Parmatma by selling meat weighing with Saligram who were very common illiterate men. The simplicity in life, life without hypocrisy, truthfulness in life, always seeing self in all live and all substances, equipoise in life, equanimity in life, life free of attachment, desire, anger, greed and ego; is all what Parmatma asks you to have. Our inadvertent urge for procedure and neglecting this practical aspect in life has damaged our religion beyond any repair. Some philosophers hold this responsible for the birth of Buddhism and Jainism, too. We don’t want to draw that dispute here anymore. Just let us forget knowledge and procedural aspect and insist for living and being aspect of life. हरिः ॐ तत् सत्
