25 Songs 25 Days - DAY 3: A song that reminds you of one or both of your parents I know......why in the world would this song remind me of my parents? Several years ago - probably 20 to 25, I was sitting on the sofa and my dad was in his recliner. Mom walked in the room and bent over the other recliner to show something to one of the kids (dont remember which one, it was before Beth was born. I dont even know if the other two remember). Daddy looked at me and with that mischievous little glint in his eye started singing, Heaven help us! Babys got her bluejeans on! We all of course started laughing and Mom turned around and playfully slapped Daddy on the shoulder and said, Oh Willie! That kind of playful bantering is how Chris and I grew up. That was the first time I remember him singing that song to or about her, but it kind of became his signature song for her when shed walk in a room with her jeans on. Good memories, good times.
