25 on High: A Photographic Journey opens today, September 20 and runs through November 8, 2014 at Ohio States Urban Arts Center, 50 W. Town Street, Columbus, Ohio. The exhibit begins with Kathy Bernats three images from High Streets Open Country South, and moves through the center of the city to Worthington in the north. Taken by a core of graduates from Ohio States former Department of a Photography and Cinema, the team was expanded to include current OSU students and professionals from other academic and professional communities in central Ohio. Inspired by Walker Evans and James Agees Let Us Now Praise Famous Men, local wordsmith Tracy Zollinger Turner, helps tie the images together with original narrative and text. Curated by Clay Lowe, photographer and emeritus professor, Ohio State.
