Better than Klimov’s Come And See or even Tarkovskys Andrei Rublev. Yes, you got it Let It Ride. The classic film on the philosophy of life covers rules of the Cosmos (fortune cookies), Chinese food (see fortune cookies), horses, friendship, Guys & Dolls, love, marriage, money, camaraderie, jealousy, and a little bit of luck. Cause when you think of it, almost all life changing decisions - be it marriage, children, family, career, schooling, where you live - all comes down to time and chance; just another fancy term for luck. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but you gotta go all in. Sometimes you gotta let it ride. This is not a guilty pleasure, not a cult favorite, not a little known gem.
