25A. The dignity of each person is a gift of God. Even with a thousand faults and problems, each person has a great dignity to be respected, for she is a creature of God. Unfortunately, this dignity is continually trampled by social powers, especially by political and religious institutions. Politicians do nothing to alleviate the economic and social problems of their citizens, indeed, governments can not do nothing but aggravate these problems with more taxation and decreases in social assistance and public services. A real scandal is the taxation of the first house. It is a real mafia tangent. People make huge sacrifices to buy a house witout any help from the government, and politicians do not think of anything other than put taxes on it. This is a real shame by politicians, who want to solve every economic problem through the imposition of taxes. Another absurdity is the continuous increase of the ritirement age. Many elderly people are in complete despair, because they no longer have a job, and they no longer have the hope of finding a new one, for their old age, and at the same time, their social pension leaves more and more over time. These are criminal acts by politicians. Another shame is the public health care. It has become expensive as the private one. The ticket of each medical visit is almost 100% of its cost, while the expectations of such visits become longer and longer ( several months and even years ), to the detriment of public health. All these injustice are practiced by governments, while the leaders of religious institutions speak about the dignity of work and not of the dignity of every person, who is the image of God, and yet, such dignity is always trampled by every social power.
