25Jan2015 - Liam spiked a fever today. It was 103 F at one point. We have done blood cultures, urine cultures, and a respiratory panel. So far, we have heard back on the respiratory panel. It was negative! :) Which means, the fever was not caused by a respiratory bug! The cultures can take a while to grow, so we may not have results for a few days. In the meantime, the doctors have added an antibiotic to make sure that hes covered. According to the doctors, fevers are common during transplant. Liams IV pole was upgraded from a single post to a double. Im confident that all of the pumps weigh significantly more than he does. We continue to be grateful for the amazing medical team treating our son. Prayer Requests: 1) Fever go away! (And root cause of fever - hit the road!) 2) Stem cells get busy 3) Rest, strength, grace as we begin our 3rd week at the hospital tomorrow, 1/26!
