25th August The service was led by members of the Church. Readings Jeremiah Ch1 v 4-10 and Ch 31 v31-34 1 Corinthians Ch 1 v26-31 Jeremiah was a reluctant prophet who felt inadequate and not worthy to serve God. Despite tremendous opposition he did not waver in his belief in the call God had given him. There were short talks on others who had similar experiences but went on to achieve great things in christian service. The talks were on John Wesley,Martin Luther King and Dave Cooke. God accepts us as we are and then moulds us to His purpose.
